Steve Krawciw [kro:sew] and Irene Aldridge are seasoned veterans of the capital markets with over 40 years of combined Wall Street experience.

Irene Aldridge is a recognized expert on HFT with over 20 years of experience in Finance.  Irene is President and Head of Research at AbleMarkets, a real-time market intelligence firm.  Prior to AbleMarkets, Irene headed quant trading of various asset classes at Able Alpha Trading. Before that, Irene was a trading floor quant, quant investing researcher and still previously, Irene ran quant risk management for corporate lending, after positions as Chief System Architect on large integration projects, software and hardware architecture, enterprise Internet security, at top financial institutions in NYC and Toronto.  Irene started her career as software developer for a financial services company in New York City.  Irene holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Cooper Union, MS Financial Engineering Columbia U., MBA INSEAD, 2 PhDs – Ops Research (Columbia, ABD), Finance (ABD). She is the author of “High-Frequency Trading” (Wiley, 2009, 2013, translated into Chinese).

Steve Krawciw is CEO of AbleMarkets.com.  Steve has 20+ years of experience in financial product development, launch, business development, integration and operations.  Steve launched $4+ billion products at Credit Suisse (7yrs at Credit Suisse in product development, business development, technology and operations mgmt).  Previously, Steve led projects in asset management CIBC (4 years), 8 years at McKinsey & Co and Monitor Co in business strategy, spanning financial improvements, corporate reorganizations and acquisitions, restructuring and process improvements.  Steve holds an MBA (Finance) from Wharton, and a BComm from University of Calgary.
